WE
WELCOME NEWCOMERS warmly, for we value being open to all
that newcomers can bring. As individuals, we come from many
backgrounds: Unitarian Universalist, Christian, Jewish,
Buddhist, atheist, agnostic, humanist and many other traditions.
We take pride in our diversity; from this diversity comes
strength. We welcome new members without regard to race,
gender or sexual orientation.
We
would like to introduce you to our Church and to Unitarian
Universalism. The menu on the left contains links to our
church's history, beliefs,
mission and vision statements
as well as our staff and committees.
A list of Frequently
Asked Questions, located on the UUA.org website, is
also a good place to begin -- you'll find answers there
to many of the most popular questions about Unitarian Universalism.
Our
Sunday Service is held at 11:00 a.m. Lifespan Faith Development (Religious Education) for all ages is held at 10:00 a.m. There
is no dress code at our church. People in our congregation
wear everything from shorts and flip-flops to "Sunday
Best". Please come wearing what is comfortable for
you. Children
should dress in something that is comfortable for play,
as our classes may often include active
games, outdoor play and a certain amount of "creative
messiness."
Newcomers
are invited to stop at our Sunday morning Information Table
and fill out a guest card so that we can send you the Unison,
our Monthly Newsletter. You can also subscribe to Happenings,
our weekly online newsletter. |
