OUR VISION:
The Rainbow Group envisions a church that provides a nurturing, supportive environment and a respectful attitude for all Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered (GLBT) People.
 
OUR MISSION:
Our mission is to act as a resource to assist the church in setting policies and procedures that incorporate attitudes of support and understanding for all GLBT persons. We will respect the values of other church members and friends by adhering to UU principles in all our activities. We will endeavor to represent our church with honesty, enthusiasm, and open-mindedness. To this end, we will sponsor or initiate:
  • Social Justice and educational programs.
  • Outreach efforts that promote positive awareness of GLBT persons.
  • Projects and social activities for our local UU community.
  • A support group that builds a safe haven for all GLBT people regardless of their religious affiliation.
