“Kids need to know that church can be fun and music is awesome," says our director. "For all people, kids and adults, if your church music program has passion, creativity, and a little talent, you get SIZZLE. That’s what we’re really selling. Involve as many people as possible and help them feel a part of it. If it’s exciting and fun, people want to come back.”

Our Music Program
We consider our music one of the greatest strengths of our church. The program is led by an enthusiastic new music director who works with the minister and the Worship Committee to provide a high-quality musical experience during the worship service. We have an adult choir which performs at least twice a month and outstanding guest musicians and musical programs. We are ever on the lookout for more choir members and want to continue drawing people into the music program.

WORSHIP SERVICES
A Free Religion
We intend to have lots of diversity in the programming by including various instrumentalists, soloists, small groups, creative dancers, and enlisting the aid of seamstresses for occasional costuming opportunities. Our director envisions choir retreats at The Mountain, a strings group, and a hand chime group. He plans to continue the Visiting Musicians Series, which has already brought in such acts as the USC Upstate Gospel Choir, Pilley and Jay Bianchi, the Warren Wilson Folk Choir, and the soprano trio, “A Blonde, A Brunette & A Redhead” (see below).
